Multiple Direct Hire Opportunities with an international manufacturer of process systems that is seeking multiple Pipe Fitters to become an integral part of their production team! In this role you will use specialized equipment to fit up new components and systems for welding.
Responsibilities:
- Fits and assembles components from materials using hand tools and welding equipment and following blueprint specifications: Examines blueprints and materials list to obtain parts specifications.
- Lays out parts dimensions on worktable
- Tack-welds scrap metal to outline to provide support for assembly.
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Shift: 6am to 4pm (OT occurs regularly)
Pay: $25 to $28/hr.
Location: Houston, TX (Northwest side)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience or formal training in pipe fitting
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Confident with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload
